It might not be easy to find an affordable, delicious, AND filling Ethiopian Restaurant, but Abyssinia def does it well. I got their vegetarian platter (which is under $10) and it was divine! It comes with like 5-7 vegetarian (vegan) dishes on a nice piece of injera, and you also get a nice piece on the side. One time I got salad plus that, and I was too full. The second time, I got just that and I was perfectly full. The one downside is that it kinda takes forever to get your food. But for some, the wait is not a deal breaker.

This place is great. I like hanging out at Dalek more, but for my money Abyssinia has the best Ethiopian food in town. Plus, they play Ethiopian music, and there's a crowd of regulars always having a good time!

Delicious delicious food and friendly service. The service is good if it happens to be the kind of service you want, so come here knowing that it is a place to be relaxed and unhurried. You can hang out here and talk with friends for an extended period without being pressured to leave.

Really great place. The service was just fine, atmosphere was plain (a positive thing), and there is a secret bar upstairs! Highly recommend this place for your Ethiopian cuisine needs! They offer some beers and wine I believe, we definitely had some African beer of some kind, I can't recall the name. The "secret" bar upstairs was awesome, we didn't have anything to drink but as a former industry-ite I know good booze when I see it. I've heard they have live music sometimes? Not completely sure. Check this place out, it's a cool experience and the food is great. Recommended as a place for friends or established couples, not really a first-date kind of joint. Or maybe it is? Whatever. GO!

Delicious food. Good service. They have many different things and you'll want to go more than one for sure!! Ethiopian food is meant to be shared so be sure to bring some friends so that you can try many menu items. Everything is served from one plate with injera on the side for grabbing bites (no silverware). I would recommend the door wat or if you're feeling brave, try the gored gored. You really can't go wrong!!
