As an Esthetics educator at ADC for 5 1/2 years, I will tell you what I have told students for about 30 years of teaching. "NO school is perfect, you will have good and bad students and teachers, however, you MUST get your basic training somewhere. So do the best you can and KNOW that your real 'training' and knowledge comes from your experience in doing your profession, and continuing education!" That being said, I have seen many schools over the years, and Academy Di Capelli is the best school I have seen and worked with. Are they perfect? No. But they do have great teachers who care about their students and care about the education you receive with them. They will work with you to help you be the best you can be, and YOUR job is to put in the effort for that to happen!! NO education is ever lost, unless you don't put it into practice. (In or out of school)

Horrible school. Waste of time and money. I've moved to another state and need my transcripts to get licensed and they lost them!! Zero records! All they will tell me is "oh well"
Do not go here. Find another school

I personally know David Roldan and Lisa Ramos and they just wanted to right negative stuff to try to bash the school.  They know that the teachers and everybody at Academy Di Capelli are great and treat everyone with fairness and respect.  The way things are taught at the school are awesome.  I went to other schools and Academy Di Capelli is by far the highest quality and most professional.

As a graduate of Academy Di Capelli I can honestly say it was an amazing experience!  Academy Di Capelli prepared me to have an incredible future as a stylist.  I learned so many different techniques and the staff and owners were always happy, welcoming to all students and eager to teach.

They want your money, but don't want to teach anything. You learn more from the students than from the actual teachers there. You're basically paying for one entire lunch/recess period and MAYBE get to do one haircut a week when you're on the floor. Not worth the 20k a year to go there. The teachers tell you that they are only obligated to teach you enough to pass the state boards....which is a multiple choice exam. When I confronted my teacher telling her I wasn't getting my monies worth she relied with "technically you haven't paid anything yet" to students who are attending with the help of student loans and grants. They are still getting paid regardless how the payment is received. Not a school I would EVER recommend a friend to.
