My son had both vision and dental appointments an hour apart and it was a wonderful experience.  I'm a first time mom and I was very nervous at first of this experience and loved every moment.  The Dr's are great and they also educated me. I was happy and proud of taking my 1 year old son to his first vision and dental appointment.

The people I interacted with were amazing with my 6yo daughter. They took time to explain everything to her and answered her questions, they treated her like she was the actual patient and not just an object they were going to fix. I loved it, I would bring her for care again.

I love Academy kids! They are always so friendly and so helpful. And make you feel comfortable.  My kids have been going there since they were toddlers.

Vision and Dental were very busy.  Today seemed the staff was also in a rush and not very interactive with my daughter.  Felt like we were on a conveyor belt.  There was one dental assistant being very helpful with another patient and the girl was not happy with the teeth cleaning. She was very calm with the girl to help her thru it.  My daughters assistant was talking personal stuff to the doctor while she was looking at my daughters teeth.  There is a right time and a wrong time to do that.  I have never had my daughters teeth cleaned so quick. I had to ask her are u sure I did it all.  She said yes.  Was not very happy today with this location!!

I would of given 5 stars but couldn’t because for my FIRST visit had rude dental assistants(that weren’t even helping with my kids appt) talking smack in the back about my son. He is 2 and doesn’t like the dentist and is VERY close to his sister. So when she was in the back having her X-rays he was not having it. So like I said before he is 2 and is in the throwing himself on the floor, puts his head in his hands and starts crying stage...trouble twos at its best...but these guys were seriously talking smack while I’m trying to talk to the dental assistant (that was helping me with my sons appointment) about my sons dental history, signing all the consents and everything. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! You work in a KIDS dental office if you can’t do your job without the smart remarks then find a different place to work. YOU DON’T BELONG IN THE MEDICAL FIELD!!! The 2 dentists, 2 dental assistants and front desk staff that DID help with our appointment were awesome!
