Beware.. Beware.. I called this guy Alex from a CL ad to get an estimate and oh my my.. he showed attitude as if he is the president of the USA and it is a big mistake on my side to call him for a framing only job. I asked him for a ballpark price and he started acting so cheap with bad language.. and just as a reminder, this was on the first call after two minutes of talk. Later on, I read the other reviews about this guy Alex and his company and I am so much thankful that I didn't have to deal with this guy anymore. Stay away..!

Update: After reading this review, he called me back and threatened me to take the review away or he will come to my home. Not sure how this guy is doing business by threatening people!

A very unexpected and bad experience with Alex.  His original consultation was pleasant and he seemed knowledgable.  But after we put down half the estimated cost in cash (really bad idea!!!) he routinely didn't show up or showed up late, requiring me to stay home from work and lose hours.  He never called to advise of delays, and getting paid was the only thing on his mind.  He was more than one week late in finishing a two day job, after constant apologies and broken promises.  He also charges 1/2 the price of the job up front, so it's impossible to drop him afterwards, despite the fact that he acts so unreliably.  The work he did in the end was OK, nothing great.  But the frustration and constant worry about him showing up was not worth it at all, and in the end we were completely fed up.  I would not recommend Alex nor would I ever use him again.....

I found this guy's post on Craigstlist and I decided to take a chance of him since I really needed some framing and drywall to be installed.  I’ve never used CL before so I wasn’t sure what to expect.  He came by and seemed really nice, well-spoken guy.  He seemed so trustworthy that when he asked me to give him money in advance I thought nothing of it since he promised to return the next day. When he came back he only worked for a few hours, left and I never saw him again. When I called to ask where he was and demand he come back he told me that he wasn’t coming back and I should sue him. This guy is a thief and took my money.   What's worse, the little work he did for me is really bad and needed to be completely redone.  When I continued to call him to come back and either finish the work or give me my money back he got really angry and told me that if I ever contacted him again he was going to kill me with his 45.  This really scared me and for a long time after Alex came to my house me and my family didn’t feel safe thinking that he would come back.  We looked at his criminal background and have no doubt that he would keep up his threat. Please, don't use this guy!  My only interest here is to prevent him from taking advantage of somebody else.  I already lost my money and don’t feel safe in my own house.  I have to deal with that but at least I can try and prevent somebody else from being fooled by this guy.
