The Deck Helmet crew did a major project to replace my deck with composite decking. My husband and I purchased the house in 2016, but it looked as if previous owners never invested in any deck maintenance. Even before receiving an estimate I told my husband that composite look is what we should go for. The quote for the job that we got from Deck Helmet was reasonable: I did a little bit of deck shopping around beforehand. The guys who worked on my project were really good and delivered high quality work. Juan and his crew showed up on time. The deck turned out better than imagined.  Now our 20 year old deck looks brand new again. We look forward to enjoy it for the rest of the season. I recommend working with the Deck Helmet and especially Juan and his crew.

After being bombarded with Ads from Deck Helmet, I needed deck work so I made the call. I'm connected to a national answering service with operators scripted with general questions and answers but are not able to take your measurements or deck condition questions stating there is a free,no obligation est that covers this. I specifcally ask if Deck Helmet services my area and was told yes they go everywhere. I was able to schdule an appointment with a 3hr window. The appointment day came and with 10min. left in the window, I get a call from what Im guessing is a subcontractor that is within 3hrs of my location. He tells me he took measurements and a look at my deck from Google Earth and proceeds to quote me price of 14k to replace my deck with composite and vinyl, but If I commit to the project now he will take 1k off. I said well, send someone by and we'll talk. He told me he was 3hrs away and if Im not going to hire him, its not worth it for him to come by. Dont waste your time with Deck Helmet, they are a middle man and in my expierence they are not reputable. I ended up finding another company which did the deck for less than 8k.

Fantastic job! They responded quickly  and started the job promptly.  Completed the deck refurnishing within contract time and the result is awesome! I feel extremely confident to recommend them to family and friends!

I wish I could put zero stars. Deck Helmet is a con company that glorifies a product that I could have bought from Home Depot and apply myself. We spent $12,000 for this company to repair and reseal our deck. In less than a year the product was peeling and our deck boards were rotting. I posted an honest review of the company on Yelp and the owner called me and said that if I took the review down they would conduct all necessary repairs. I was stupid and trusting - he has refused to do the work he promised. He is ignoring my calls and emails. Our deck is so rotted and dangerous that we are now having to replace the whole thing. 
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Please. Check out the reviews on Yelp as well. Many customers are complaining of the same thing. This man should be jailed for his dishonesty.

The owner and staff were very friendly and professional! The end product is amazingly beautiful. They were also extremely proficient in the clean up.  Thank you.
