Terrible.  Terrible. Terrible.
A guy who who is insured with Acceptance struck me from the back where I was stopped because the car in front of me stopped.  My car was damaged badly and my car was also pushed to a car in front me so the front of bumper my car and the back of the car in front of my car were both damaged.  I called police and the police called an ambulance sent me to a hospital.  I told the police to tow my car to Tim's Tatman body shop but it was towed to Andy's Towing.  The police man said the driver crashed me from the back dropped something and he was looking for the thing he dropped didn't pay attention to the road when the accident happened.
  
The accident happened on a Thursday evening at 8:30pm and I call Assurance Friday and got a claim number which is fine but the problem started with an adjuster who name is Sheree Bynum.

When Sheree called I told her what happened and when I requested a rental car she told me she can't do it until the investigation is down which may take up to 30 days.  When I asked if it can be more specific how long the investigation may take she said up to 30 days again.

Sheree called me Tuesday, which is 4 days after the accident,  and told me she wanted to tow the car to a storage and then she will send an assessor to assess the damage.   On Wednesday afternoon when I asked her where is my car since I wanted to get some personal belongings, she said the car was towed to Copart Salvage Auction in Perkin, Illinois, which is about 100 miles a way.  She didn't tell me this when she asked my permission to have the car towed away from Andy's towing.

When I call Copart, I was told they have not towed my car and will tow it tomorrow morning.  I told them I don't want my car towed until I will get a rental car from Acceptance.  Sheree called me a few minutes later.  unlike past, this time is quick, she is hard to reach over the phone and it will take long time for her to call back when I left  messages.   She said if I don't allow the car towed to Copart, Assurance will stop paying Andy's Towing from tomorrow.

I called Tim's Auto Body, which is a full service body shop.  Christine answered the phone and I gave her the Assurance claim number.  She said she will call Assurance to have the car towed to Tim's.  A few minutes later Christine called back and told me Sheree said Assurance will assign an appraiser to assess the damage immediately.   When my State Farm agent call Assurance more 24 hours, Assurance said an appraiser still has not assigned and it will take 72 hours to assign an appraiser.   

I finally filed claim with my insurance since i have full coverage.  I am not sure what I can do if I don;t have collision coverage.  

Both State Farm agent and Tim's Auto Body complained to Sheree's adviser.
