NEW REVIEW, Never thought I would have to say this, but I WON'T SHOP THERE as long as Mike's father in law is working. He is a complete jerk (putting it mildly) Customers near me could hear the man yelling at me when all I asked for was a washer. OLD REVIEW "Great hardware store for personalized service. Mike and Mike are very knowledgeable. Prices are better than Duval Mine Ace store and much more helpful than the big box Lowe's and Home Depot stores."

I have shopped at this Ace Hardware store for the last five years, everyone is helpful, and courteous. If you cannot find something they direct you in what aisle, or they will walk you there. My experience there has been an A plus.

The store owner Mike is rude and down right lacking in his social skills for customer service. I refuse to shop here now. Read all the negative reviews, they are true. Keep in mind if you buy a tool, it can NOT be returned regardless if it's new and unopened. Horrible store. The just opened up a new ACE off Duval Mine road next to Walmart. That store is a pleasant experience. Don't listen to other reviewers positive experiences are merely buddies of the owner trying boost his reviews.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I usually take the time to leave positive reviews. This is the first ONE STAR review I've ever taken the time to leave. This store was that bad of an experience for me. Of the 4-5 star reviews I've read here, most say "kind, friendly, professional staff". That's true, but I came here to buy a product (paint) and have it work properly (it did not). As with the others who claim "no returns" - the same happened to me. The friendly gal at the paint stand frustratingly took 40 minutes (!!) to mix the paint (of which I provided exact name and product #) - then kept randomly adding more green, then more red, then a little more white. Ugh!! $17 later and unmatching paint touch-ups around my home, I ended up at The Home Depot, who mixed a $3.50 sample pint that matched perfectly. Mike the owner declined to refund my $17, even after I said, I'd like to provide a positive review that you have good customer service. No? "Sorry, no can do," he said. Well no can shop here anymore then. Sorry Mike.
