I love this bank and the customer service I receive every time I go their, my expectations are always met. I have been with this bank many years now My husband and I had no credit at all and we had open a personal loan and we got accepted. As we build our credit, we had the blessing to buy a house a few years ago and we bought a new truck this past year. We haven’t had any problems yet. Angel Bonilla is always so helpful and honest, great customer service. Well every Rep give customer service, but my husband and We love talking to Angel he just great!!
Have been a customer since I started working 25yrs, had my children start their savings account there. Everyone always friendly and helpful. Would have given 5 stars but with current conditions Covid-19, I am not able to take care of my business, lobby is closed with only drive up window service. I don't have a car. Person who took me was unable to wait in the long lines, I have to try another day, maybe it will be better.
I'll be changing institutions this weekend. A word of advice: get in writing the services that they offer, that you pay for and which services are a "courtesy". The services can be taken away at anytime without any notification to you the account holder. Imagine if Webster or Chase or Bank of America did that!? We would be in an uproar, so then it begs the question, why would we tolerate less from an institution promising to delivery more than the big names? Crazy. And I've never managed my account in a way that caused the credit union a loss not even late payments on a previous loan. The explanation I was given was that I didn't have payroll deposits totaling a particular amount which is inaccurate since my salary was more than twice that before commissions. What really floored me is not just that mistake but that NOBODY from the credit union notified me in writing or otherwise about a material change to my account. That is inexcusable AND unforgivable. The nonchalant-i don't really care explanation did not help. I don't make sudden emotional changes. I did some research on the credit union and I realize my money is with a financial institution that has a C+ financial health grade with rates that are on average, 12% higher than the national average per an independent website. Nutmeg has an A health rating and they are also right down the road. I strongly believe in supporting local but not everything locally has earned my support. Achieve is now one of those institutions that I can no longer do business with. UPDATE: I called in to their member service with some questions. The members service rep was super helpful with my inquiry and she also informed me that my overdraft protection was reinstated. I appreciated that Achieve took that step too correct an earlier error. I updated to 3 starts because Achieve made an effort and I appreciate that.
Been a member for several years with my wife. Her parents were members since it began. Joined because I was figuring it would be a more human experience than dealing with a large bank. Well come to find out, despite being employed and married, they are not willing to work with me in any way. Wouldn't give me a $5000 loan even with a cosigner. I have no credit, which I understand is a problem, but they didn't even try and help me find a way to make it work. I can't imagine trying to take a smaller loan, and with a cosigner and since it was for a car it would be virtually no risk for them. I was really hoping for some help from them, I'll probably start searching for somewhere else to put my money.
I opened a savings account when I was in high school thinking I'm in America and my money is safe. But clearly not. I come back a couple years later and HALF OF MY ACCOUNT IS GONE in dormant account fees. They only refunded a fraction of what they took from me as a "courtesy," since they said it was in their disclosure, but who's a high School kid opening his first savings account getting involved in the fine print of bank disclosures? Don't get involved with this bank, loaded with hidden fees. STAY AWAY!
I’m really disappointed whit the service hours open to late and on tap of that not open on Saturday it really inconvenience to me and all the people whit Monday to Friday job
Twenty years and counting...got no complaints...the best financial institution I’ve ever been involved with...
The only thing a dont like are the hours. Besides that, I have no complaints. Great customer service!
