I have been a member at this gym for over five years and only recently have felt the need to give it a review. I have witnessed many changes over the years but none as good as recent. Today while I was working out the girl working was ACTUALLY working. This is like a breathe of fresh air compared to usual people who SIT behind the counter. She was cleaning windows that as long as I have been here I have never seen cleaned. She just never stops working, she's always doing something. She isn't always here in the morning but it would be nice if she was. I hope this girl gets the appreciation she deserves. This place needs more employees like her. She is always so kind and so pleasant. An amazing asset to this place. I will continue my membership after considering cancelling for another gym. Great job Active.

Pretty good pricing. They offer tanning, a decent amount of equipment, and are recently offering all types of new classes. Would be nice if the place had better fans, or more air during the summer time. It gets crazy hot in there.

It's a really clean gym. It's a nice gym. It's reasonably priced...however my only complaint is that there is a lack of energy level there in my opinion. I feel like I'm working out in the middle of a department store like Kohls with the soft music and earth toned surroundings like rug and colors on the walls. I've been going to gyms since I was a kid...I'm pushing 50 now. I'm not in search of a meathead gym by any means...but for those of us who don't use an IPod in the gym, do us a favor and raise up the volume and put on some upbeat music... I assume owners now have to appeal to everyone other then men...especially the ladies...the days of hearing loud rock music in gyms is over...and hanging 2 or 3 pics of Arnold from1975 just ain't gonna cut it as far as motivation... Again it sounds like I'm being picky...it's a decent gym...no complaints other than change up the lame music, crank the volume up and try to bump up the "feel" in the place! It's a snoozer...
