Acute Style is the only place in Ithaca I go to for haircuts. My hair is such an important part of my image, so I'm very particular about whom I go to for haircuts. Michelle, the owner, is such a phenomenal hair stylist. She does an excellent haircut and, thanks to Michelle, I've gotten really great compliments about my appearance. Michelle's business number is a mobile number, which means that she responds to text messages; that is so convenient because I can always text her to get her availability. My schedule is so busy and fluctuates so much, so I am often not able to figure out when I can get my haircut without short notice. Michelle goes out of her way to accommodate my needs. On at least two occasions, I've needed a haircut outside of her regular hours; and on both of those occasions, she accommodated my schedule even though I gave her less than 24 hour's notice. Michelle makes me look great--all the time--and I couldn't be more grateful to have her as my go-to hairstylist! :)

After getting an absurdly uneven haircut at a salon in downtown Ithaca, I walked into Acute Salon hoping for help to repair the damage. Michelle was wonderful! She listened to my needs, saw the issues immediately and I left with my hair the way I wanted.

It took me a long time to find a person that can do a decent haircut in Ithaca, and I have been blessed to come across this place. This place is exactly what I needed. The interior is well lit and relaxing and Becky is really attentive and she takes time to figure out exactly what you need. The best place in college town to have your hair cut, by far.
