Would not recommend this place. They were helpful and nice in the beginning but there was hardly any communication with family and some of the workers were flat out rude. You have no privacy at all it was just horrible towards the end. They sent very nasty messages once I decided on a better choice for my child someone closer and way nicer and better they're all about the parents rather than the birth parents they don't care at all and are really rude. Please think wisely before choosing them.

Anlc is not for The Birth mothers. As a birth mother of 2 adopted children i would NOT recommend ANY Birth mothers to choose this agency. You want to feel secure and comfortable during this hard time. Not badgered and stressed. They babysit you the whole way. You have no privacy or independence. There are better option for you birth moms. Do not settle for this. They scam us and focus entirely on adoptive families.

The case workers here are rude as hell they don't care about birth mothers and they think adoption is all about "finances" and "buissness" news flash when someone is making a life changing Decision like adoption be more supportive of the adoption, rather what you guys THINK someone wants to GAIN horrible agency I even had a case worker here inquire about my race and that African americans dnt adopt and usually change there minds towards the end. Do your research before talking with thesse agencys they are the users and are taking pepoles children.and.selling them like animals and not caring about the birth mom and how she feel's, if she is OK if there will be contact afterwards, or anything hell they will tell you a family is open.and the family really wants a closed adoption.. Thanks to a more friendly and honest local agency I will be placing my child with a family, the agency knows personally and they really are concerned with the adoption process as a whole...

Terrible. Have been waiting for nearly 4 years, and only 1 potential match. They started out contacting us a lot until we had paid all the fees and put together our profile information. Since those first few months there has been minimal contact from ANLC. When we did have a match, we personally had to do nearly all the communication with the birth mother ourselves. We also had to coordinate all of the attorney processes with no help from ANLC. The adoption was disrupted, and our contract says they will send us Phase III money back until the next match. That was August 2016. Now, 8 months later, still no money!! With repeated attempts to get an answer, ANLC just keeps putting us off. We don't even feel that they are trying to match us with someone any longer and now they have stolen a portion of the fees we are due to get back! Would never recommend them!!
