Dr. Zamani has been practicing cosmetic and general dentistry for the past five years in the State of Virginia (Arlington and Tysons Corner). He is a University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, graduate and has completed a comprehensive two years post graduate program in Orthodontics with The United States Dental Institute. He has been awarded by The United States Dental Institute as a Lifetime Member with the honor and privileges afforded therein. He is a certified premier Invisalign I and II member and has had over 60 cases in the past year. He is trained to utilize the latest technological advances, such as rotating nickel-titanium instruments to perform more successful and comfortable root-canal procedures. He is willing to offer the best predictable cosmetic results by combining his Ortho and Restorative experiences. He is actively attending the continuous education courses and stays up-to-date on dental materials and latest diagnostic and treatment techniques. He is affiliated with the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, ICOI and Northern Virginia State Dental Association.

I was a regular patient from 2011 through 2016 when I worked in the area, and their location is very easily accessible via metro rail, bus, or bike.

My visit to their office was my first visit to a dentist in a few years, so I had a number of minor issues, which Dr. Z was quick to determine and schedule to repair.  The work was always done well and almost entirely painless (and I am terrified, very sensitive and pretty intolerant of tooth/mouth pain). However, one of those fillings did fail and was replaced by Dr. O within ~1 month.  I was not charged for the correction, and transactions between their practice and my insurance were always smooth and easy.

Overall, they've kept my teeth and mouth in good shape, but over the years I was there it seemed like they were trying to crowd more and more appointments in at once, hygienists diligently doing their work while the docs jumped from patient to patient.  I understand this is pretty normal and good for business, but from the patient perspective, I sometimes felt like the process was forced and rushed and I was just another number.  Going to the practice that I do now really threw that aspect into sharp relief.

At least once a year if not every single visit, I also received a comment about the one and only amalgam filling that I have.  It is not visible to the public at large unless I grab and pull my lip aside, but it was continually noted as an eyesore that should be replaced with "better looking" resin fillings.  My response was always, "Is the amalgam filling ok or is something wrong and it should be replaced?" and they would look closer at it and say that it was fine and a cosmetic recommendation.  I appreciated the honesty, but not the harping to disturb something that doesn't need to be disturbed and in no way causes me problems.

I will never go back. Tried to sell me invisiline when I already had braces and said my barely 3 yr old filling should be replaced. ?!?! There’s nothing wrong. Went back to my old dentist and they confirmed my teeth are healthy. I think they preyed on me because I look like lil stupid blonde girl or something!!!

Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is the only reason i give it 4 out of 5 stars. It can be a little tricky to find on your first visit. Otherwise, it was a great first experience. The technology they have there seems very top of the line, although I haven't experienced it all myself. The TV screen in the room to show you your teeth the way the dentist sees them is extremely nice.
Would recommend to those in the Crystal City / Pentagon City area.

I drive all the from Sterling because I get the best service here.  From the receptionist to Dr. Z, I'm well cared for by professionals worth the best bed side manner I've seen.

Went there to get a filling. Didn't get a treatment, because that wouldn't be ethical, the doctor said. DDS Oriani recommended instead a costly and much more expensive treatment. Customer is not king. If they can't make money, they don't care about you. That was a sad experience.
