Let me start off with saying that these are by far the worst people to deal with. They are rude and very unprofessional. I bought a radio from them at Scrapin the Coast. When I got back to the hotel room, I wanted to check out my new purchase. As I was taking the plastic screen protector off, I noticed saw a small dent and scratch in the corner of the radio. Let's not forget to mention, there were scratches on the screen protector when I purchased the radio. On Sunday, I brought the radio back in hopes to return it because it was not what I expected and the radio seemed to be in USED condition as I was looking over it that evening. Mike and the owner accused me of damaging the screen and refused to allow me to return or exchange the radio. Mike and the owner of the store were very rude and disrespectful. Mike told me I didn't know what I was doing and that I was a backyard installer. As I was talking with the owner, he was getting very aggressive. He slammed the radio box and receipt down in my face and told me to get the hell out of here. I was also told to go back to Louisiana as I walked away. The customer service was horrible. I advise anyone who is interested in an audio system NOT to go here. They are only out to get their money and they won't listen to what the customer has to say.

I needed a minor part for my car. They took a quick look and gave it to me on the spot, for free. No other audio shop in Gulfport had what I needed or even took the time to look. Overall, I received excellent customer service during a very good experience.

Very very bad experience, very poor installation job, had to take my car to a dealer to have stereo re-installed, was told by manager that I didn't need a power capacitor for my amp, as a result it caused my altanator burn up and drain my battery. I told him that I needed it so that wouldn't happen, but he said to me " I don't recommend you need one due to the wattage of my amp". Now I've had to put 500+dollars in my car for a new battery and altanator because he said I didn't need something that I asked for to begin with. Very disappointed and disgusted with their service. Wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. The manager needs to get his ass off his shoulders and do what the costumers ask for instead of trying to tell them what he thinks the need.

COME TALK TO THEM BEFORE ORDERING ONLINE! I recently moved back to the coast after being gone for a decade or so. I needed some car audio work done and started shopping around. Went to Empress and it seemed like they weren't interested in helping me, so I went to Advanced. Talked with both Mike and the installer for a while going over what I was looking to do and were very helpful even though I wasn't making a purchase, just getting a quote for some labor. They installed an amplifier, headunit, and components in my car for a very reasonable rate. I had a minor issue with the headunit that had nothing to do with Advanced (turned out to be a faulty headunit) and they still helped me figure out what was the issue. Great experience all the way. A bit later my girlfriend needed some car audio work done on her car. She didn't go to Advanced because she "knew someone." She was disappointed right away. Then her amp was having an issue, so of course she ended up at Advanced. They let us know her amplifier was faulty, we talked a bit about her options, and we ended up buying another amplifier from Advanced and they put it in, tuned it, then the installer went over everything with my girlfriend. The amplifier placement was well thought out for easy access with tuning and everything was perfect. I normally buy everything under the sun online to save money. I talked to Mike about this when I went in and told him I would rather pay a little bit more and support a local business. He understood and gave me a fair price on the amplifier. Before you order from Amazon or eBay, go down to Advanced Audio and at least give a local business a chance. Their customer service is unmatched.
