I used Advantage Insurance for my rental property.  They were very professional and I would use them again.

Do yourself a favor and do not do business with this company. This company is not licensed by the State of Mississippi, but is authorized to do business in Mississippi as a non-admitted company.  The policy is not protected by the Mississippi Guaranty Association in the event of the insurer's insolvency.  Lesson learned:  do not get a "surplus line" insurance company (which this is); the state cannot regulate them, and if they go bankrupt, MS Guarantee Fund cannot help.  Go with an "Admitted Market" insurance company.  Do not get "minimum earned premium" policy which is what Advantage has (a clue is if they have taxes on the policy).  I made sure there was no "lapse in my coverage" when I changed to Progressive as they would bundle two cars and my home (Advantage does not bundle home and auto), but didn't realize that I would be penalized $399.53 because I cancelled the Advantage Insurance after 1 month of getting the policy.  This company's policy is not written in an "easily readable format" per Residential Property Policyholder Bill of Rights.  I am sorry I did business with them for 4 yrs., but so glad I will save @1,000+ a year with Progressive on my home and car insurance bundle.
