I called to get my wife's bike in for a tune up as an anniversary present. They were able to fit me in despite it being a very busy time of year (April). The bike was ready for pick up a day before it was scheduled to be done so we could go on a ride on our anniversary. The owner is very helpful and her staff are hard working and very knowledgeable about bikes. I would highly recommend taking your bike to Adventure Cycling because of the quality work, attention to detail, and honest interactions. They took time to interact with me and didn't rush me or pressure me to buy anything. They did provide suggestions but I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me things. These people definitely know bikes and care about their customers. If you are in the York, PA area, I would recommend taking your bike needs to Adventure Cycling!

Uneven repair quality, expensive, good customer service. I had minor repair - maintenance work done, which was too expensive in my opinion. When I got the bike back the new cables and bar tape looked good but the shifting was not correct. I fixed it to the best of my ability since I didn't want to wait another week for a second appointment and I was away traveling.

We recently moved to York and have really gotten into riding. We needed to replace a tire and chain. The staff was very helpful in every aspect of the job. They took the time to explain the ins and outs of each product they have to offer. Very accommodating too. They also got the job done in less than a week. Friendly people. We will be taking all of our business to Adventure from now on!

They aren't going to sell you a cheap bike, but it will last for years while being ridden routinely. They service any bike, unlike Gung Ho bikes.

This is a great bike shop run by a family that is very knowledgeable about bikes. They have certified workers who fit you to the best bike size. They answer any question and do very thorough service on bikes. This is 100x better than buying bikes from a box store.
