We have only been there a few weeks but compared to our last and only other experience the organization, the cleanliness, the supervision, the REAL FOOD Granny the chef makes for the kids, the programs....we have seen an instant change in our two year olds. They are extremely happy, sleeping better, eating better all at school and home. We have loved the change and we are so grateful spots came open when they did. The girls are so excited to go to school each day and I have felt so relaxed leaving them in the care of the teachers and staff there.

Best daycare we've ever been apart of!! Every teacher is wonderful, great leadership, and a family environment! Granny is a great cook and they serve health concious meals and snacks. My son has learned so much in the last 7 months! This facility is a perfect example of what every other daycare should strive to be.

In response to the previous comment: I can completely understand why a parent would react defensively (as the post clearly indicated below) and would be offended any time social services is called, guilty or not. That would be frustrating, no question. HOWEVER, let me provide an alternate viewpoint to consider: I think it is great that this teacher CARED enough, and NOTICED any concerning issues with the child. I am a Missouri public school teacher myself, and we do not want to offend parents, ever; however, it IS our job to be mandated reporters, and we'd rather be safe than sorry, even if that means offending a parent. It's obvious this teacher cared about the welfare of the child enough to make the call and risk upsetting the parents, which this worker had to know would also result in awkward confrontations from both ends. No one wants to have to make that call, but it was obviously worth the risk to this teacher. If I were the parent, even though I may be slightly offended, I would still be happy that the teacher cared enough about my child to advocate for him/her. AND, that the teacher is keeping that close of an eye on my child's well-being, especially any physical and/or emotional changes to my child. That's being a caregiver. I think it’s important to remember that, above all, this situation took place with the CHILD in mind; this child’s welfare was put first before the teacher’s AND the parents’ feelings, and I think that is great! Moreover, it is nice to hear that the story ended well, and the teacher was worried “for nothing”. But, again, better safe than sorry. There are, unfortunately, too many mandated reporting calls that turn out to be validated concerns. My daughter attends Adventures of Learning and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. You couldn't ask for a better place for your child. Honestly, as far as pricing goes, this daycare is UNDER-charging for what you get. Susan goes above and beyond the minimum requirements for a licensed daycare, and you can tell she truly has a passion in this field. She listens to EVERY parental concern, and truly takes those concerns into consideration. A daycare is only as strong as its leader, and this one is a direct indication of a “well-oiled machine.” A++ for AOL!

Highly DISAPPOINTED!!! My family attended this daycare facility for 9 months and had small fits but otherwise was reasonably happy with them. Until we ran into an incident where our family was attacked with false accusations regarding some kitten scratches on our oldest child. A new teacher of 2 weeks felt she couldn't come to us as her parents with her concern and instead embarrassed and hurt our family by calling and having a social worker come out to our house on a Saturday afternoon to check our home, our cabinets for food, our sleeping arrangements, our living situation, and get character witnesses and work contact for her father. We felt this was down right out of line as it was a complete shock to us as to why anyone would make such accusations about our family. Obviously any teacher or any by-passer that has ever met my daughter and her father know just by seeing the two of them that he is more than wonderful with them, he jumps to catch them when they fall, and puts his hands out to catch their puke when they are sick. Never would he cause any harm to either of our little girls that hold the key to his heart. Caught between a rock and a hard place on what to do....we were happy with the daycare itself as well as the director but why would we want our children to continue to be around someone who clearly attacked our family. When we went to speak with and meet with the teacher herself she was very cold, rude, and defensive about the situation. She repeatedly stated that she was just doing her job as a mandated reporter and felt no concern for our family or feelings regarding the matter. She didn't understand what she had done to us and had no remorse or apologies for her actions. I was completely shocked when she up and walked away after voices were raised back and forth from her trying to speak over us just to defend her case. And more shockingly was when the director stood there and just defended her employee of 2 weeks rather than understand where we were coming from. We came to the conclusion that we simply couldn't have either of our children under the care of that teacher, especially after the way she acted and treated us considering the extreme of her fault for the situation. Once this decision was made the director simply said she would miss our girls and wished us the best. Its not the fact that she chose her employee of 2 weeks over our family that has been there for 9 months but that she handled things the way that she did. Now I have to take my children somewhere new and start all over and considering the way things turned out I honestly think its for the best for my family. I will not miss this daycare or the experience we had with them.
