Adytum Sanctuary was truly a place of rest and relaxation for us! When thinking of where to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary, my husband could not have picked a better place for us to get away. The grounds are beautiful as you are surrounded by trees and a gorgeous lake. The owners, Katherine and Ron Carroll, where excellent hosts! The suite where we stayed had absolutely everything we needed. Katherine knew that I was gluten free and dairy free and therefore she made sure to stock the fridge and pantry with organic whole foods. This place is truly an oasis and we can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful and serene bed and breakfast and spa with lots of privacy and quiet. Great for romantic getaways. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds, friendly owners, and birdwatching. Our lovely suite was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

9-6-2017 edit: I do not see where Google will allow me to review for each of my stays at this enchanting property. I would give more than 5 stars if possible!! This was my 3rd stay, I chose the Orion Suite this time. It was absolute perfection!! The Carrolls are just amazing people, and the entire property reflects their delightful personalities. The suites are luxurious and comfortable...every need is anticipated. Cannot wait to return!! This was my 2nd visit to Adytum. I have now stayed in both of the offered suites. My 1st visit was Orion Suite in the spring of 2014. My 2nd visit was this past week (January 2017) to the Star of the North Suite during very wintery conditions. It is difficult to find words to adequately express the amount of peace and pure joy experienced while there. The Carroll's have created an oasis of sorts that is nothing short of phenomenal. They are perfect hosts, anticipating every comfort. I will be forever thankful to have found this treasure - not just the property, but also the hosts! My next visit will be late summer. I highly recommend multiple visits in order to experience the beauty of each season at this lovely retreat.

This is a hidden Eden that I stumbled upon when searching for a place to stay last minute. The hosts are so warm and welcoming, the grounds are gorgeous, the suite we stayed in was luxurious but still cozy, and they have some really sweet pets that roam freely. A romantic and peaceful place to stay if you're visiting the mountains, or just want a quiet retreat.
