Resort staff was friendly and helpful.. Parking is quite limited though. Stayed in their pet friendly resort one weekend and was so impressed with the area and it's atmosphere that we bought property on the hill overlooking this quaint lake.

The resort looks like a fun family place. The rooms are fine. The owner helpful. A boat is really needed to fully enjoy the lake. The restaurant was not a good experience for me; closes at 9, I showed up at 820, the cook had already cleaned the grill and insisted I had to order something fried. In the morning, breakfast was till 11, I showed a little after, I asked if it was too late for breakfast, the cook replied loudly with a rude tone "absolutely". I left. Cook there is not interested in customers. I would go back only if I didn't have eat at the restaurant, but I don't think there's anything else close by.

Will never go back. Charge for every little thing and are rude. Went to restaurant and almost everything on the menu for breakfast was made with country gravy but they didn't have any county gravy. Trash cans are on the other side of lot if you stay in a cabin. If you want to fish for trout make sure you bring a boat and trolling gear. They do try to get as much money as possible by stacking motor homes. Stolen car by the entrance and police showed up searching for the thief. Taking my money elsewhere next summer. Nice lake though!

Notice there aren't pictures of the actual camping sites on their website? That is because they are ghetto. I looked at the pictures online and thought it look okay, so I booked it. Then you get there...there is a sea of blue garbage bins right by the campsites, there is no grass (just dirt and weeds), every campsite is stacked on top of each other, and houses surrounding the campsites. You feel like you are camping in a rundown neighborhood. There are also a lot of rules about what you can't do. I expect that from a nice resort but not from an gross place like this. Also, be aware that their sites are at an angle that make it hard to empty your sewer. The sewer line has to run uphill. I saw three people having to lift up their sewer line as they emptied their sewer and two of them unhooked causing sewage to spill all over their site. The only real positive was the staff. They were all really nice. Except for the owner (or at least he acted like he owned the place) he walked around like a "creeper". He would hide behind campers and stare at into sites. It was really creepy. He came up to talk to us and stood over us with this odd awkward silence and a strange grin. He was really pompous too! Stay away from him...not to be trusted.
