Story

Affiance Financial was built on the principles of integrity, caring, and giving back. Our story begins with our founder, Steve Lear. Steve’s financial career began in 1980. Within 10 years, he founded his own firm. He believes this independence allowed him to best serve his clients and community.

In 1995, Andy Fishman joined Steve and together, they began to assemble a team of professionals to care for their clients. In 2000, this team became Affiance Financial.

Today, we at Affiance Financial continue to put the needs of our clients first, and trust that the rest will follow. We are a firm committed to improving lives. That commitment extends beyond our clients. Some of the community partners we serve include BestPrep, the Food Group, the Foundation for Financial Planning, the Minneapolis Jewish Federation, and the Sabes Jewish Community Center.
