My first experience having my hair colored here. Wonderful professional care. Not to mention I love feeling pampered.

I rarely have my hair done aside from a $10 trim here and there, I've been to nice salons but often felt unwelcome and found some stylists to have a snooty attitude so I was nervous when I walked in to Affinity.  Immediately I began to feel at ease when I was warmly greeted with a smile, a lovely woman took my coat and showed me to the waiting area with a coffee station.  I didn't have to wait long.  My stylist Torie, greeted me and gave me a quick tour.  Long story short, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I'll never go anywhere else !!  I love my hair (ombre color and cut) and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish !!

Torie V. is hands down, the best stylist around!  My fiancé had hair fried, at the most expensive salon in town.  The damage was so bad that her hair had been falling out and breaking off, for the last 6 months.  Because of this nightmare, she needed a professional that not only understood her craft but had mastered it.  She was a nervous wreck about setting foot into another salon but Torie's comprehensive knowledge allowed her to diagnose the problem and communicate with intelligence, the best way to proceed.  She did a great job of setting proper expectations and instilling confidence.  My future wife needed more than just a great stylist.  She needed someone that could instill confidence and trust.  Torie did so much more than a great hair style.  She established credibility with her wealth of knowledge and followed through.  My family is grateful to have found her and will follow her for as long as she stays in the business.  Thank you so much Torie!  You're amazing!

I started out with hair that was a nightmare. Brown henna'd hair (never use it!!!)  + multiple sessions of bleaching that I had gotten done somewhere else, which turned green from the henna. I didn't fully research the damage that I had caused to my hair, and it was breaking off and unhealthy. A lot of people will refuse to work on henna'd hair because of how permanent it is! 

Also- I'm getting married on April 22. Talk about a nightmare! I was looking for a miracle at this point. 

Anyway, I went in for a consultation with Torie, who was completely honest about how bad of a shape my hair was in, and how she could TRY to fix it. She is great, and very detailed in what she does. She did multiple strand tests to determine how the henna would take to different shades of brown dye. Then she was able to balance the dye formulas so that it wouldn't change to green like everything else I had tried did. After several hours of dyeing + a trim, my hair is in extremely better shape than it was before! I can actually wear my hair down without it looking green or tangling from breakage and split ends!I would highly recommend Affinity Salon- and specifically Torie -to help you out with your hair problems! 😊
