Tampa had been my home for the last ten years but then I got a job offer in Orlando that I just couldn’t pass on. So the time to move set upon me with a cloud of worry as I had no idea how to transfer all my stuff to my new condo. A colleague at work recommended this moving company as they did long-distance moves. They are simply the best as the song goes!! Nothing was broken, everything was on time and in perfect condition. Thank you!

These guys were of invaluable help to our family. We contacted them when our daughter was going away to college and we couldn’t really move all her belongings in our van. Plus, having a professional moving crew do all the packing while you get to steal a few more hours with your kid really is worth it, trust me! So, special thanks to the team from me and my entire family!

I moved all the way to Brandon, FL using Affordable Family Local Movers of Florida's services. I was pretty happy with the price. It was not as tiresome of a process as I thought and I think I have to thank these guys for it!

After weeks of the not returning our calls, it's time to start leaving reviews. They had a chance to fix this, but chose to ignore us. 
#1 They arrived on the wrong day. They were exactly 24 hours early which means we were not ready. We had not yet disassembled the furniture or packed everything in boxes. We had to either use them a day early, or not get our stuff out in time since they were booked on the day we actually needed them. First mistake was agreeing to move a day early when we weren't ready. 
#2 They had really inexperienced movers that didn't know how to disassemble bed frames, or move furniture without damaging it. This added to the move time exponentially (you are charged by the hour.) 
#3 They damaged a $4,000 bedroom set to the point it can't be repaired. They offered to have their furniture restoration expert repair it.. He never called back. 
#4 THEY ROBBED US. They stole a watch and tablet, admitted it, and returned it later. Not sure what else is missing. Haven't been able to locate a ring. Who knows what else they took that they didn't catch. 
Finally.. After all is done, they only agreed to take an hour off of the move. We probably should have had the police involved. Only a full refund would be fair, but the furniture was worth so much more. 
I tried to help a small business and regret this mistake so much.
