I have always tried to use local businesses. I turned away from using them a few years back due to horrible customer service. attitude was; everything is an inconvenience, why are you here - a couple years ago, I started going back for thanksgiving rolls and cookies… today will be the last day I will ever step foot in their  doors again, there is a male who works there who is so rude… he is just so miserable and so unhappy and a know it all, telling me how I have done things and how I was wrong in what I was saying and yes I lost my temper in the end

Amazing cookies, unbelievably bad customer service. If you're walking down main street and they're open, stop in. If you have to travel more than 5 minutes don't go because they're probably closed without notice, which they do ALL THE TIME. No sign on the door, they don't answer the phone open or closed, and I dont think they're aware of the Internet.

Stopped in yesterday upon recommendation of a friend who lived in Cartersville many years ago. Picked up 2 over-glazed fritters. The extra glaze was covering over-cooked, burned fritters. They were inedible.

A favorite. The location is nice and I can usually find street parking. There is such yummy goods inside, even if I couldn't park nearby, the walk does a body good cause I'm going to eat too much from there anyway! I love the chocolate drops, the kids love the sugar and the gingerbread people, and there is SO much more! Not a wasted stop ever. I don't know many American real bakeries, so I drive about 30 minutes to get to Agans!

Absolutely love this place! Great bakery goods! Cakes, pies and yeast rolls to die for!!! Yum!!!

This is my favorite bakery ever, and the customer service is great! I love all of the frosted cookies and especially love the turkeys they are so cute! Mia was the decorator for my step dads birthday cake and it was the most gorgeous and delicious thing i have ever consumed. It also helps that she is a very pretty woman!

This bakery has delicious foods. Go early in the day so they don't run out. Apple turnovers are wonderful.

Delicious baked goods! I have a major sweet tooth and let me tell you those were some fantastic sweets. Very friendly and dedicated staff as well, will 100% be returning for some more tasty treats!

This "Sugar Shack" has melt in your mouth the sweetest sweets from from the sweetest people ever!

All I can say is the owner did try to make things right by taking $30 off however upon pick up the attitude and level of customer service is absolutely disgusting. From the start of the order to pick up they were only nice on the phone upon complaining then picking up the actual cookies that they gave for free ...they did a job that looks like they were for free. You would think a small town bakery would care about how they treat people that order from them it’s truly sad. Also note that their staff that was behind the counter had no masks on as did their customers I guess small towns have different rules than the rest of the world. Thought long and hard about not writing a Google review but at this point people need to know it’s just not worth ordering from this place.
