Great time for locals, out of town visitors or those just passing through. A fun night out; elegant steak dinner, casual buffet or take in a concert, drinks and a little gambling. If you partake to much in the adult beverages... just get one of their fabulous rooms for the night!

We were celebrating our friend's birthday while staying in Palm Springs and decided to party in this casino. The drinks were great, and we especially enjoyed the Thai tea at the Java Cafe, including the sweet girls who helped us. We decided to gamble a bit, and we approached the help desk where we enrolled in the rewards program. The girl behind the register was very friendly and extremely thourough in explaining how it works, and although we turned around to play the game and each "received" $10 to play, none of us were actually able to redeem them while gambling. When entering our card, it welcomed us and recognized the $10 credit, but we were only able to play with the money entered. Perhaps by asking for assistance we would've been able to use it, but we had a great time, nonetheless.

We have not been to Caliente for years. We been visiting Paula and Pachenga mainly because we've been able to stay and spend the night compliments of their Casinos. I did like the ride to Caliente but staying for seven hours after gambling then driving home was a little more than we liked. Can you comp a night? That would give us two days of fun and a reason to take a drive to Palm springs.

Love the casino here. There is a nice variety of slot machines, and plenty of video poker. I enjoy the music mix they play...from classic rock to newer pop/soft rock. We had dinner in the buffet. I feel it was a bit pricey for the food quality. There was prime rib, but it wasn't that good, in my opinion. A nice variety of food to choose from however. There were also small crab legs and peel and eat shrimp as well as different stations such as Mexican, Asian, etc. Price was $24.95 per person. You do get a 10% discount if you have a casino club card, which is free to obtain.

Agua Caliente is a decent casino. Be advised it is a smoking casino with a non smoking section but the whole place smells like a Greyhound bus station mixed with the aroma of a high school locker room. That said, the overall experience was good. Plenty of games, slots, etc to enjoy. The restaurant food was very average and well over priced. Not like Vegas casinos at all where the food is usually free and high quality. If you've ever been forced to eat at the airport you know what eating here is like. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And parking was plentiful. Although I did not stay overnight, it was easy to get a sense of what the rooms and amenities are like: adequate. I recommend Agua Caliente if your expectations are not too high and if you are going with enjoyable company which will mitigate an otherwise unremarkable experience. +++
