Served its purpose for a one night stay. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Clean common areas, microwave, ice machine washer/ dryer. Bring your own amenities cause they offer none. If you like extra pillows you better bring them cause you won't get extra ones here. Bring your hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner and extra towels. For a quick stay it's the place, cheap rates.

The rooms were clean and comfortable.  We did not look closely when booking and were shocked at the $299.00/night charges over the weekend vs. $59.00 usual rate as we were not aware of Coachella Valley Music Festivities happening while we were there.  It seems those staying the week should have been compensated with a far better package than those coming to play for a weekend. We felt abused.

Arrived with three kids in tow (two teenage boys and 1 girl). It was hard to explain to the kids why the man with the beard working at the front desk had 3 inch acrylic nails, lavishly decorated. 1st room was musky and smelled like cigarettes. There were also hair strands on the pillow on one of the beds and stains on the cover/comforters. This gave the impression of dirty sheets and a half cleaned room. Yuck! We went back down to the front desk and the staff were kind about our complaints and promptly apologized and moved us to another one that was just a few doors down from the first room. This sucked because there was a group of other hotel guests who were employees of some solar company that obviously booked a few rooms for their employees and the guys in the room directly in front of the stairway felt that it was okay to leave their room door open, stand in their door and/or directly in front of the stairs and drink beers, smoke cigarettes and talk loudly until around 11:30pm. Not only was this a bad look for Motel 6, but it was quite uncomfortable, inconsiderate and plan rude. Being that I was a mother traveling alone with young children, it was very awkward and quite uncomfortable having to walk past these guys when we first got there, when we were bringing our bags in from the car, when we had to walk past again to share the condition of the 1st room, when we left out for dinner, when we got home from dinner and when I went to grab a few items from the vending machine downstairs. No toiletries except for a tiny scrap size of soap, scuffed walls in the bathroom. No thanks, we won't be staying at this Motel 6 or any other location for that matter. I will spring the few extra bucks to have a much better experience overall..

I have found Motel 6’s to pretty much be a hit or a miss.   This one was is one of the better ones.  I spent four nights there while looking for a home to buy.   The room was clean and fresh.  
It’s centrally located along the highway which connects the communities which spread along the base of the mountains.  The only detractor was the homeless folks who would occasionally wander through the parking lot rummaging through the trash cans.   I purposely planned my stay during the weekdays as opposed to any weekend day as the weekend daily rate was three times the week day rate.

I was having an extremely bad night and checked in super late with my dog. The guy at the front, can't remember his name but had dark hair and kind of a surfer dude look was extremely helpful and friendly. I was scared to stay there by myself so he gave me the safest room he thought he had available and no questions asked about my dog staying with me. In the morning upon checkout I went to return my keys and the ladies were such a pleasure first thing in the morning. The service from the staff was 5 start especially for a motel 6. I was expecting some guy with a cranky attitude who would give me a hard time. It really changed my thoughts about staying at a motel 6 especially when I'm used to higher end hotels. Service was better than most hotels I've stayed in. Thanks again!
