Story

Dr. Ahn has a full-time comprehensive, restorative dental practice. In addition, he is Founder and Coordinator for the Invitation of Musicians of the Ridgecrest Chamber Music Society. He served as a Board Member of the Harbor Regional Center for 8 years. In his spare time he enjoys golfing and camping in the Eastern Sierra with his three children, especially his middle child who has Autism.

I called to ask a few simple question in regards to a procedure I need done. While talking to the receptionist she put the dentist on the phone which I thought was strange but fine. He told me just to come on down so he could take a look and explain things to me in person. I told them that my insurance had not kicked in yet and I was just looking to see which dentist would be the best fit for me. I went and he pulled me in his office. Again I explained what my issue was and he kept trying to talk me into doing unnecessary procedures on a particular tooth that were far more expensive then what i needed and wanted done. I never had an appointment set, i explained that i wasnt trying to get anything done until my new insurance kicked in and he continuously reassured me that it was fine. Not once while I was in the office did they say I would be charged for anything even after it was all said and done. I just got a bill in the mail for 130 dollars that I will be fighting. Super super unprofessional and seems to just want to do whatever he can get the most money out of. Also you can't understand a single word he is saying so it really doesn't help with the anxiety I have for dentists.

Expert use of cutting-edge dentistry in a geographically isolated area and always takes the time to thoroughly discuss options and his rationale for recommendations. He promotes a co-op learning program with the college which is great for the community. The staff are very friendly and have excellent time-management skills. I've been a customer for years and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the lobby. Billing has always been accurate and hassle free. Highly recommend.

Went in for a cleaning. The staff is very friendly and the dental hygienists who clean will vary a bit. Some will clean your teeth without any poking, while some may poke a little, but overall, the cleanings are not uncomfortable or painful.

This man and his team are absolutely amazing! Everyone on his office is very helpful, compassionate, and friendly. I was terrified of the dentist to the point I would shake uncontrollably and cry. Dr Ahn and his team were so compassionate and understanding. They took the time to talk to me, they helped me understand what was going to happen, and they even let my fiancé in the back with me while they worked. I had a wisdom tooth extracted and felt amazing afterword, like going to the grocery store and getting groceries good.
 I never thought I would be able to sit in the dentist chair, smile, laugh, and even look forward to my next appointment. Thank you Doctor Ahn and team for such an amazing visit.
If you're looking for a dentist I 100% recommend these wonderful people.

I had an accident that damaged my upper two front teeth, almost down to the gums!
They took me in immediately and even stayed late to finish me up. They had all of the equipment to cap my teeth. Best of all, when they got done with the shaping and coloring you couldn't even tell. They looked just like they did before!
