Yay!! A Korean restaurant in Brentwood that I am excited to come back to. I was very skeptical coming in, but the delicious jjampong spicy seafood noodles & jjajangmyeon black bean noodles proved my skepticism wrong! The waitress was very attentive and kind the entire time. I hope more and more people discover this place.
Our first time here and the food is delicious. My kids loved the noodle soup. Their spicy pork dish was amazing. Definitely will come back again.
finally good asian food in brentwood, everywhere else is mediocre and branches off from how the food is in their own cultures and local restaurants. average prices for good food! workers were extremely quick and kind. good portions and filling! i would def visit again and become a regular!! <<333
Had a very bad dine in experience at this restaurant. The server was extremely rude. We came in in the afternoon at 3pm with two starving kids. We wanted to eat and go fast. There were only 1 table ahead of us when we went in. We literally had to wait for 45mins for three bowls of noodle! No one came to check on us while we were waiting. When we tried to talk to the server, she gave us very bad attitude. As we used out all our napkins, we asked for more the server ignored us. My mom went up to grab some napkins, the server got so mad at her and said not to go in there with very bad attitude. My mom was from a different country to visit us, due to the culture, she was trying to help herself and not to bother the server. My mom was doing her job when she did not do. I was shocked when I heard her talking to my mom like that. First, who would put the money drawer outside next to customer dining tables with back facing to customers? That’s where napkins, spoons are. Second, we did not even notice that sign, very unnoticeable. Third, if we should not go in, we apologized, but we did not deserve the loud blame and bad attitude. All you need to do was to tell us sorry please call me if you need anything, let me help you. It was ridiculous to go to some restaurant like this and be treated like a thief. Never go back again!!!
Small portion, big price. Extra charge for banchan and you get only about less than half of the usual amount you'd get in other korean restaurants. The amount in the deluxe bulgogi was depressing. They also automatically added in 18% tip for a group of 4 2 adults, 2 youngsters + a 3 year old who did not eat. Good thing we checked our bill. Can't complain about service. Lady was nice and responsive. Didn't take long to wait for food to come we were the only one when we came in. The taste of the food is not like all the other korean restaurants we've eaten at, but it's also not bad. It's the only Korean restaurant in the area so if you don't want to go far then this is the place for you. But if you want the best bang for your buck with fair portions then go to Concord where there are several Korean restaurants.
This was a nice clean place with delicious food and great service. We ate in and ordered the green tea and corn tea. Appetizer of fried dumplings were just ok. I ordered Bul Go Gi 18.99 it was really good with a generous portion and came with small portion of rice, fried veggies and glass noodles. The chicken ramyun14.99 was good. A large bowl with a lot of noodles and very little chicken. The bummer was the to go order I took home for the hubbs. I ordered the Xtra large combo bbq. Supposed to be a double portion with pork, beef and chicken, rice, fried veggies and noodles. I brought it home opened it and it looks as if it's exactly the same portions of the regular sizejust with chicken and pork along with beefI paid $28.99 for it. Unimpressed. I recommend sticking to the regular size. I'd probably go again just for the beef...its pretty great.
Excited to see a great new Korean restaurant in Brentwood! Loved all the included sides that allowed us to try several new Korean flavors. We ordered Beef Bulgogi, Beef ramen and pork tonkatsu mains and they were all fantastic!
Thought Id try some Korean BBQ.....purchased Gal Bi. The short ribs had quite a bit of fat, and one was completely burnt. Flavor was ok. Only 4 pcs of vegetables, clear noodles were great and generous portion of steamed rice. A bit pricey for the quality....
Great food. A bit pricey for what it’s worth. The signs on the wall are tacky. Minus one because of the signs on the wall. Also , minus another one due to service and price. Probably won’t be back.
Finally good Korean food nearby downtown Brentwood. Service was great considering covid has had a number on the workforce. I will definitely be returning.
