The staff was very nice and efficient. The food was tasty with generous serving sizes. They had some non-sushi Japanese dishes I only see at one other restaurant in town. The atmosphere was relaxed and the inside was nice.  Vegetarian options: They had some decent vegetarian options

I like this Korean restaurant. Shrimp is good, ramen is good! Kimchi is also good! I also like the Korean waitress. Nice to talk with her! : Service is really good! My coworker enjoyed talking the joke with her.

Loved it here! My fiance and I came in just for Saki drinks and it was really great to meet Mr. Austin Korean owner and his brother in law. These guys definitely know the hospitality  and their Asian cuisine of sushi and Korean food!  Definitely come here and you won't be disappointed

I accidentally stumbled in late on what seems to have been a day after reopening. Further learned that the children and family are stepping up while the owner recovers from surgery. I cannot wait to return! Tried the Korean BBQ Bulgogi with side dishes. Returned later in the week and had a bowl of Chirashai. Excellent on all fronts.

My husband and I were in the area for the night and I was looking for a great sushi place for takeout. Luckily, I found this place when searching. I couldn't have been more pleased with my meal and with the service that I received when placing it. It was fantastic! I will definitely return the next time I am in the area.

Delicious food and I love that they play K-Pop music videos on one of the TVs : My favorite things to order are their Kimbap, various sushi rolls notably their sunny roll and spider roll, bibimbap, and gyoza! It’s reasonably priced with kind staff and a lively atmosphere!

Food was delicious. Portions were large. Staff was friendly, but service was very very slow.  Took over an hour to get our food appetizers.  Short staffed more than likely as they were not that busy.  Only about half full.

Literally the only good restaurant I've been to in Nashville after 2 years and it's not even in Nashville technically. I used to live in South Korea and their Seoul style bulgogi really reminds me what I ate in Seoul. The service is excellent. They play KPOP videos in the background. It's nice. I love this place.

Don’t recommend if you don’t have time to wait 30 minutes for a drink order. Restaurant was empty with just 3 other couples. Very understaffed hopefully they will get staffed soon, not sure how they have survived. Food was not good enough to come back.

I rarely post about my experiences at restaurants but Madai deserves one. I just ordered their sushi lunch special and not only are their employees exceptionally kind but their food is always phenomenal. Great portions, beautiful, delicious, fresh sushi. Look no further for a great restaurant.
