As with any not so interactive museum, it's just objects. But the good thing about this museum, is that there are always volunteers available. And they know what they are talking about, because they flew in the planes and helicopters. During the Vietnam War for instance. And were else do you get the chance to see the inside of a C5? Worth a detour.

This place is absolutely amazing! The maintenance on the airplanes is perfect. The staff is helpful. The museum is overall very informative (the history on the supply lines to Berlin is specially interesting). The store is really good too. It is worth checking and supporting with donations and purchases.

Sitting just off of the famous base in Dover, DE, this museum is a great place to enjoy the history of the USAF. You are able to take in a view of the airfield and enjoy a wonderful indoor/outdoor hybrid exhibit space both. The volunteers and staff are very knowledgable and a good majority have some form of military service!

Bill Westgard was the best guide ever. His knowledge about the planes is incredible. It was neat to hear his first hand stories about flying the planes during Vietnam. He kept our 4 and 7 year old entertained. We feel honored to have spent the morning with him. Thank you Bill.
