Beautiful park. Clean and neat with large sites. Picnic tables at each site. Would have given 5 stars except for 10:00 PM "curfew". Gates are locked then. We talked with host and it is a hard and faster rule. Only way to sites after 10:00 is to leave vehicle at entrance and walk in.

Beautiful place. I camped at the end of the summer and the weather was cool in the mornings and breezy throughout the day. There are restrooms and shower facilities that are clean and seem well maintained. Other than the noisy planes and helicopters that pass by every now and then, it's a quiet place to relax. (Aside: Google Maps might direct you into Airport Beach Park instead of Airport Park where the campsites are. The entrances to the two places are close by each other, and they don't connect inside the park).

Spectacular park! We stayed in site 9 and it's the best location. Wonderful view, lots of shade, sewer hook up, across the street from showers, close water access, and a pull through spot! We saw many deer in the morning and evenings. This park is clean and well maintained. The gate keepers are friendly and very welcoming. We will be back!

We took our new RPod to Airport Park for its maiden voyage this past weekend and it was excellent! Very friendly staff, the perfect campsite that we'll use again and again for weekend getaways (we live near Waco) and the lake was great this time of year! Clean facilities, well-kept grounds and well thought-out campsite locations. Loved it!
