Ajo was surprisingly good.  When we walked in after the lunch rush on a Sunday the place was nearly empty (which is never a good sign), however the host seated us right away.  The food was the real surprise, it was very good.  I had the rabbit and eggs which were perfectly done and the green chili gravy made the dish (ask for a spoon, you’ll want one).  The only suggestion I’d give the staff at Ajo is be more Johnny on the spot after seating your guests; other than that we had a really great lunch.  Nice job Ajo.

Great food, great service, long wait though. This place was pretty good. Somehow they were able to keep sauce from breaking without any milk. They did mess something up, but they fixed that immediately. I'd say that this is a great place to go if you want a nice restaurant that's not to fancy.

Service was good. Do not even think about eating here if you’re hungry: this is a moderately expensive, “good food but tiny portions” place. The duck breast is 6 oz. that’s 3 bites of meat and a big steamed plant on your plate. I was hoping for a locally sourced meal, not appetizer. There was way more to the calamari app than the snapper or duck that we got. But good service and ambiance.

Great food and flavors. The food was fresh, and the portions were perfect. After starting by splitting the pot stickers - which had great flavor, but could have used some more filling - I had the duck, and my husband has the lobster Mac and cheese. I definitely recommend planning to split dessert, though. It was huge, even for two people!

Love this place! Great service as soon as you walk in the door. Arrived a little later on a weeknight. Seated right away. Server took drink and appetizer order as soon as we knew what to was. The food here is definitely on the gourmet side. The only hicup to the evening was that the Duck Fat Fried Potatoes were over fried.
