The Akes Family is so very wonderful. In a time we are experiencing one of the most devastating griefs, they made sure that everything for our sons service was taken care of. Ruth is so sweet and wonderful. I never had to worry about anything. Thank you all so very much. I HIGHLY recommend their services. God bless you.

In my grief stricken state of mind I called Akes by mistake to transport my mother from her home (who had just passed away) to their mortuary. My mother some 20 years ago had prepaid funeral arrangements at another mortuary in Riverside. Within hours I contacted Akes explaining my situation and their first words to me were, " well, you owe us money and you will need to come to our office to sign release papers." Not one word of compassion or expression of sympathy, just "where is the money?" I would NEVER recommend their mortuary, they are in the wrong business. Carolyn H.

They neglected to put the name and obituary on the web sight until I called the day before to verify the time leaving less then a day to send flowers. SAD!!!

The staff did not know anything, the lost of pertinent information miss filled, rudely dismissed.Insurance settlements were dispursed illegally, irresponsibly the directors lack of communication leaves something to be desired. the family feels miss lead and deceived
