No. I wouldn't recommend visiting this place. The cuisine lacked seasoning, with the calamari being served lukewarm, and one of the sushi rolls were notably unimpressive in flavor, particularly the shaggy dog roll which had an odd taste. Even the miso soup was tasteless. Despite the pleasantness of the waitress, the service was slow in every aspect, from ordering to payment, which was quite aggravating. Although the ambiance of the restaurant is appealing, it hardly compensates for the disappointing food and sluggish service. Considering the meal cost over $60, you're better off dining elsewhere for a more satisfying experience in both service and food.
Disappointing. Was excited to try this spot, but it just wasn’t good. The space itself is nice but the service was incredibly slow. The food is BLAND. Every single dish was either mediocre or flavorless. We tried the shaggy, Nemo, Philadelphia, spicy tuna, calamari and miso soup. All were blah. So much so that we ended up just leaving the food. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Normally, I am a person who likes to eat raw fish. I thought that this place would be no different from other Japanese restaurants, but no, there are many recommended secret menus. The food looks good and tastes delicious. The shop is decorated cutely. There is spacious space inside the store. A must-try menu item is the foie gras. It's really well done.
We came here for a family dinner. This is our first experiencing this place. The staff are very pleasant and listen to your requests if any that are specific. Hot Garlic Edamame to delicious. The sushis that we tried were all so good that we ended up reordering them again ;-. We will come back again.
Best sushi I ever tried!!! The flavor is great, and the service is magnificent. I have been trying to look some sushi like this on San Antonio, but none like this one. We love this place. Definitely, this is our stop when travel to Houston.Food: 5/5
The food and atmosphere were great. Sake was damn good!!! Me and the wife are suckers for sushi!!Food: 5/5
Our first time there and we've tried many Japanese restaurants. It was a great place to stop in and enjoy somewhere else. A fresh new menu to look over and try some new and great food. Every one was very nice and and polite. We will be going again so.Food: 5/5
I can’t say enough great things about this place. I think the thing that stands out the most is the service. We’ve only been coming here for a short time and the second time we came in, the waiter remembered my son’s name. It’s this type of hospitality and service that makes going out so fun, especially with a young child. Will definitely be coming back.
Came here on the soft opening! We loved everything that we got! Had the crab Rangoon appetizer which was fabulous - had perfect amount of cream cheese and were fresh and crunch For sushi we got the California roll, veggie roll and shaggy dog rolls - all were delicious The best was the fried rice! It was so so good!
Food was amazing, our waitress was amazing, her name's Tina btw. The people I'm eating with were amazing
