I LOVE my hair! Akilah is an awesome Loctician. She is professional, very knowledgeable and cares about your hair. She provided a lot of great tips on caring for your locs, especially if you do a lot of activities that cause you to sweat. Great personality and sense of humor! Loved the intimate space and quiet atmosphere. She took her time and made my tangled mess feel special. I used her Groupon for starter locs for new clients, and already scheduled my next appointment. Highly recommend; she’s the real deal!

I came in for the BIG CHOP. Feeling nervous confused and embarrassed of my hair. Akilah made me feel comfortable instantly on arrival. Very friendly and professional also gave me tips on my new natural hair journey!

Akilah is the best hands down! She is very personable and professional. She actually talks to you about your hair. She will tell you what products to use to maintain your hair. She is one of the best hairdressers I’ve ever been to. She has help me grow confidence in my locs and helped me realize I can style my locs at any length.
