This is a small airport with mostly regional connection types of flights. TSA are fast and kind in my experience. They only have a few food options, but that's what you can expect from a small airport.

I personally like the small size because you aren't caught up in a rush of tons of people, and things seem to move more quickly and smoothly!

FYI CAK emails me nearly weekly with super cheap deals like $49 one way to Florida!

This is an average mid-sized airport. It has average food options, seating choices, bathrooms, and parking. The staff are nice, but not to the point of making this airport anything other than average. It is a decent place to fly out of, but not my first choice. It is just average and a bit out of the way.

minutes til my flight leaves on American Airlines and there is nobody at the counter to check anybody in.  Flights going to D.C.  Great start to the vacation.

Great airport! Small enough for convenience and big enough to fly wherever you might need to go!  Parking is convenient and reasonable.  Only thing I would change is more options for breakfast for early morning flights.

I absolutely adore flying out of Akron. Not only is it closer to me, but it's also much smaller and therefore less crowded than Cleveland. I flew out at 6a on my last flight and the place was deserted. I was one of two people going through security and all the lines were still open.
