Alhira mosque is one of the greatest blessings of Allah for the residents of surrounding areas.It is well maintained by the efficient admin staff. Of the 49 reviews, 48 reviews speak favorably while only 1 review by Br. Abid Kazmi calls the place"unfriendly".Such remarks about the place that is House Of ALLAH are simply UNACCEPTABLE NOT ONLY TO ME BUT ALSO TO ANY MUSLIM.May be that the review was directed towards people who offer prayers at Alhira or may be he is indirectly pointing to some one specifically. The review's last two words" my kids" reveal his real intention. It is clearly stated in ADAB E MASJID that the kids are welcome but need to be under the supervision of the accompanying adult. Most probably the control of kids at the mosque is what is bothering Br.Abid Kazmi. Brother, MashaAllah all the Namazees are friendly; they will greet you with Assalaoualaikum Always. Kindly also note views of Br. Fakher Halim who considers praying at Alhira to be "uninterrupted." Thats how it should be if we just keep our lovely kids under our control. And that is not an herculean task.Jazak Allah

Not far from O'Hare airport...easy to catch Friday prayers if flying Friday
