It’s awesome. I have been a revert since last month and didn’t eat anything other than fish for a whole month...until I found out about this place. They also sell thobe here, so i don’t have to buy it online.

Al madina is my favorite place in the world. A clothing section, a restaurant, a bakery, non-food home/kitchen supplies, a fresh halal meats section, a prayer room, all right inside the grocery store. You can find just about every middle eastern product you'd need to cook there and it's pretty much heaven. The restaurant's food is so good you could cry.

I've been shopping there for about 3 years, but last time was the worst experience ever. I promised my Dr to make Arabic food which is he never had before. I took my Dr along with me to show him how wonderful Arab grocery style like. We stopped by the restaurant inside to let him try Shawrma. We ordered our food and two drinks. After I paid the cashier I asked for our drinks. He gave me very very bad look and told me "you go grab your drink". The refrigerator was behind him it wasn't look like self help. Both of us Arabs it wasn't nice to let non Arabs "like my Dr" to see how you hate other Arabs. We should be nice together in a foreign country. To the guy who work in the restaurant I didn't react to you because I was raised to respect ppl older than me.
