They lie about their prices. The sign clearly says $2.49 without specifying whether that price is restricted to card or cash. And then when you go to pay they won't inform you that they're going to be charging a higher price than what they're advertising. There isn't even a sign with that sort of notification. 

Even though I was paying partially in cash and partially in card, I was charged the "card price" of $2.55, which I'm well aware a lot of franchise stations do, but they usually always make it clear that they charge different prices based on method of payment. I'm glad I caught the price on the screen as I was pumping. This is the ONLY way I would've known I was paying a different price than what was up on the sign. I went inside to inquire as to why I'd been cheated of my money in this manner and the cashier's response was that I should've taken it upon myself to pull up and checked the prices in the small boxes next to the pump. He handed me $0.25 as some hush money I guess.
