I've taken a number of shoes and boots to Larry over the years.  Consistently good results, but he truly blew me away with his work on my favorite Allen Edmonds.  After two years in London, they needed new soles and were spotted and stained all over.  Larry restored the upper to near new.  Rich, consistent color, and no spots and stains.  The soles are better than new, and are ready for another few years of hard life.  Can't say enough good things!

Very satisfied with this place, only here is where I get my shoe inserts.  Been going to Al's shoe service for close to 30 years.

Be sure you have some free time when you drop off or pick up your shoes, because Al is so much more than a shoe repair guy, he' s an experience. 

I called ahead to get an  idea of the cost for repairing my shoes (it was the first time I ever went in for shoe repair), and I thought I was just going to drop my shoes off and be on my way. 

Fortunately  I wasn't in a rush, because after I gave Al my shoes, he offered me a mini-concert! I love live music, and I thought I was in a shoe repair store, so how could I say no? I hadn't yet read the newspaper articles on the walls, so I wasn't aware what a talented musician Al is. What a delight!
