The place to go for movies. Get the app, select your movie, choose your seats, get your electronic ticket, and walk right into your theater. Friendly wait staff brings selections from a decent menu right to your seat. Bottomless popcorn and soft drinks available. Even have burgers and pizza. Great beer selection and also have mixed drinks (many times a special based on the popular movies). Often have movie specials like quote-alongs or dress up parties. Best part of the place is the no noise policy. Be noisy, get bounced. Simple as that.

This place is, by far, my favorite place to see a movie. Not only is it great to eat and drink while you are seeing a film but the food is good (not great, though. I would give 5 stars if the quality and healthiness of the entrees were just a bit higher) and they really cater to people who love movies. The stuff they show before the movie are not lame ads but is stuff related to the movie: a very nice touch. It is clean and efficient and the people who work there are on point. They also have great customer service. I bought tickets for the wrong date online and I left a message on their voice mail. They called me several times to get back in touch with me until the situation was handled. Great follow-up!

When it first opened a few years ago, there were the usual "new restaurant" problems, which one might think odd for a theatre. Since then, they have improved immensely, and then and now always want the moviegoers to be happy. Their beer selection is spectacular, their themed cocktails amusing and delicious, and their staff are incredibly nice people. I travel all the way down here from Connecticut, and it's worth every minute of the stop and go traffic on I95 or the Merritt. The food is good too. Also, seats are reserved, talking and electronics are forbidden during the films and they take this seriously. Check out their screenings of older movies, too.

I took the metro north and a bus to have my first Alamo Drafthouse experience. I never got my order, it was picked up right before the movie started . When I could tell the movie was wrapping up, I asked. They didn’t know what happened. The staff was apologetic and offered to put the order in but that late in the game, it was not worth it. This did taint my experience. I spent the entire movie looking for my order. Watching others order after me and get their order. Pisses me off but I hope it was a fluke.

Cool atmosphere. Food was fine. Ordering, eating and trying to read and sign the bill in the dark, not so fun. Worth the trip for the novelty factor but won't be a regular.
