$5 movies on Tuesday if you're an AMC Stubs Insider member (free to join, and you can do it online), but you have to buy the tickets at the box office. We waited on line from 8pm to 8:30pm, so leave plenty of time for this. There was only one person serving customers. The line for popcorn was also very long, with only two people working. Prices were high, as you would expect at a movie theater (they gotta make money somehow). Large popcorn just under $10. Seats were big, comfortable, button operated lazy boys. Screen and sound quality was decent. Overall, you can't beat $5 each for a night's entertainment. Theater is great, you just have to leave a lot of time to spare for lines, or come at a time they aren't busy.

The seats are comfortable. However, the service is slow. This place need some additional employees to make the service more faster. For instance, today there were only 2 servers at the snack bar. They both serving and operating the register at the same time while the line with the guest are so long. There suppose to be at least 3 cashiers and 6 servers. In addition, we need ushers in the theater rooms to help guest escort to our seats. There was a guest sitting at the seat I paid for and I showed him proof with my ticket. This theater needs some serious improvement.

This is the theater I go to, have gone to since it was first built. Have seen loads of changes throughout the years, all for the better. Today I visited the AMC Bay Plaza to see the Marvel Movie "Black Panther" it was a great movie!
I had a nice "popcorn and soda combo"
the assigned seating is a great new idea. Went with my daughters. We had a nice time.

I rarely go to the movies, but my daughter wanted to see the Greatest Showman (awesome movie). This theatre is so dirty and filthy, the seats are all torn up and garbage  on the seats and cup holders. I was so uncomfortable when the lights when off (afraid of bugs crawling on me).  I would never order soda, popcorn, etc. from the machines (imagining the mold and bacteria inside).   I will say that you can't only blame management for the deterioration, but they need to do a better job in everything. More staff, cleanliness, etc.

I've been frequenting this movie theater for the better part of a decade. And I can thankfully say that things have changed here for the better. And,  these changes have truly made the movie viewing experience great. Where do I start? The reclining seats in each theater are insanely comfortable, the self-service soda fountain is convenient, and the staff is helpful. My only recommendations for this theater are to reduce line times at the snack bar and to regularly clean the restrooms.
