Way better than the Marcus screens in town that serve food in the theater, especially Marcus Twin Creek Theater (worst food and service ever). The prices are reasonable. The food actually tastes good. The wait staff is prompt and courteous. There's a good variety on the menu. They serve food and drinks up until the final minutes of the movie. But, it's the food quality and the service quality that makes them head and shoulders better than Marcus.

This theater is fantastic! I loved the menu and the vibe of it. The waiters and waitresses are unobtrusive and polite. The drinks and food were good. I'll admit it's difficult to eat messy nachos and watch a movie in the dark. I don't advise that. But it made seeing the opening of Star Wars The Last Jedi quite memorable. I'll be going back for date nights and other openings in the future. Highly recommend.

The Alamo Drafthouse is my favorite place to go see a movie! All of the food is amazing and made to order. The staff is incredible! Once I had an entire soda spilled on me, and they helped right away to get everything cleaned up fast and with as little interruption to others as possible. A lot of people think the waiters going back and forth across the row is distracting, but as someone who is there at least once a week, I can say that is not true. They never interfere with my experience. The attached restaurant, Liquid Lounge, serves the same food as they serve inside the theaters. 
Movie Parties are the BEST!!!! They charge a little bit more for these, but there is usually some kind of themed menu and you get props to use throughout the movie.

My husband and I love this theater. We go to many of their older movie events in addition to new releases. Food is really delicious and the experience they create with no talking or cell phones allowed is excellent. The beer selection is great too - lots of choices and it changes pretty often.

So I'm an avid Alamo Drafthouse goer to include other theaters in other states 5 to be exact. As far as the food and movie experience it's great. The service at this one went from very good to abysmal. Just watched Star Wars, on a Wednesday night, 9 people in the theater....she check on us 3 times to include "last call". I personally had a card up for close to an hour and she would look right at it and then leave. This also isn't the first time I've dealt with this kind of service at this Alamo. I think the tip line should be taken off of receipts until these servers learn how to serve the customer right.
