My recommendation is to avoid the hostess at all cost. She gives a negative feeling to the entire experience. Sad for such a great restaurant with fantastic food. Everything we ate was delicious, fresh and delightful! When we entered the restaurant we had a reservation. There were two tables taken inside, and two tables taken outside on the terrace, as it was a 5:30 pm reservation. When we left at 7:00pm maybe a quarter of the restaurant was full. When we entered the restaurant It was raining and we had requested a seat outside, but since the restaurant wasn’t full we chatted with the hostess about sitting inside. she then told us she couldn’t seat us inside because she had other reservations. She was dismissive and wasn’t friendly at all.
Had a fun night at Alba Accanto a couple weeks ago. First off, the space is beautiful! It’s truly a sexy space, that is perfect for a date or pre dinner drinks & snacks. I tried multiple glasses of wine, that were all fantastic. Although I wasn’t familiar with the specific producers, the Nebbiolo, etna rosso & others were all outstanding. Also ordered a personal favorite, gin martini with a twist and it was perfect. The snacks were on point as well. The toro melts in your mouth and is the best thing I tried. The langoustine was also delicious, as was the tartare. A heads up, I only tried multiple crudi’s and they are smaller in size. They’re supposed to be! but I’m sure the other options are larger and no doubt just as tasty. I highly recommend popping into alba Accanto for drinks & snacks, you won’t regret it
Went to ALBA for the first time last night for a pre holiday dinner with a good friend and our waiter ALEX made the whole experience MAGICAL from beginning to end, He made everything so special, made excellent suggestions, explained everything in detail and even went out of his way to see that everything was served to perfection, Everyone who came to our table that night were doubly fantastic as well, Ask for ALEX tell him HRH sent you; Eat well!
I love this place! We sat at the bar and David, the bartender, took great care of us! He also makes a great spicy, skinny mezcalita. The zucchini blossoms are delicious. Can’t wait to go back’Food: 5/5

Great cocktails even the non alcoholic ones! The spicy toro was delicious. This is a beautiful bar and everyone was super sweet. Will definitely be coming back.
Forgot our drinks, then our entrees. Waited nearly an hour for $28 meal that was basically chicken nuggets. Cocktails were good, but would not recommend
Really good food. Loved everything. If you can get a reservation. Tbh. It’s a scene, but as long as you don’t mind it looking for that. Go for it
bartenders have a bad attitude. esp the small one from bay ridge. low class behavior. not coming back.Food: 1/5
