Small airport, very efficient. My travels went very smooth in and out of here. Perfect... I was struck by these beautiful artistic wall hangings at the airport, and snapped these quick photos. Lovely ;)

This airport, while regional, seemed fairly run down and in dire need of an update. For instance, the southwest departure list used not an electronic screen like a tv but those old plastic squares with letters on a board. Anyway, the experience was fine but it lacked even semi-modern equipment.

ONLY LYFT pick up is available for people who use ridesharing,UBER is not allowed to pick up riders from the airport.

Albany International is perhaps, the smallest airport I have seen. I liked that they play popular pop songs to liven the place, given the small size of the terminal. It is extremely clean as well.

It mostly serves destinations on the east coast. Though it is an "international airport", international flights departing Albany usually fly through Logan or JFK.

Drop off and pick ups are very convenient as there isn't much (or almost no) traffic. The rental car service is in the building which is bang opposite to the place where you come out of the terminal, just a walk across the road. The small size of the airport makes everything convenient.

Wonderful local airport.  Clean, comfortable, modern.  Beautiful gallery space and fine American art / craft shop.  Decent food offerings.
