Normally I enjoy shopping at Albertson's however since they're now part of Safeway I believe the prices have gone up. They are now participating in the just for u app that isn't working sufficiently enough and they don't know enough about it. During my visit yesterday I got some items from the Butcher Block and seeing that it was closer to closing time and she (aka the butcher) was packing up she was extremely irritated that I asked her to wrap me up some chicken. You would think that putting less away would make her job easier. I even had to go back in because they miss charged me on an item.

Not many people I meet who work here truly offer friendly customer service. There's somewhat of a snotty attitude, except usually I get nice cashiers and people in the bakery are nice too. Most of the cashiers show a level of friendliness and respect that I don't get from anyone else, including customer service and what seemed to be a manager I briefly spoke with. I'd say the management needs to be improved, they need to wake up. Management always influences the overall tone of any store - I know this because I've worked in retail. Show some enthusiasm for your customers and drop the superior attitudes. Even the Pharmacist ignored me as I stood behind a woman who was taking forever to finish up, what he ought to have done was at least make eye contact with me. I had a question, but ended up walking away .

LOVE LOVE LOVE the bakery!!! Mr. Hightower and his staff never disappoint. We have never had a bad experience at this bakery. I bring my kids to pick out their birthday cakes, the staff has complimentary cookies for the kids to enjoy while they look through the cake books. The staff goes above and beyond to keep everybody happy (we recently ordered a cake for my son and they added some sparkle to it that my daughters were super excited about). A lot of their products are made in store (muffins, cookies, etc.) so if you find something on the shelf that you'd like modified, just give them a couple hours and they'll fix it right up special order. The cake decorator is amazing, she has many years of experience and if you're not sure what you want, just give her the basics of what you're looking for and you'll be AMAZED when you pick up your order. If they have any questions or think they can save you some money, they'll give you a call before they make your order and run the options by you. I can't say enough good things about this bakery!

Great grocery store. Gotta buy 3 of the same meat to get the deal in most cases better have a BIG freezer.

Prices have increased, inventory decreased! Then when a good customer wants to take advantage of a sale, you realize that you have to spend a min amount to utilize. I was in there a few days ago and spent a fortune with the same cashier. So I said, send it all back! And they didn't take care of me... I've shopped there for 20 yrs! Nice...
