I made an appointment for someone to give me an estimate on a bay window that had a little leak. Guy came, wouldn’t look at anything. Refused to get on a ladder, and suggested that I climb a ladder and let a hose run on my window...this suggestion in the dead of winter when it was 15 degrees. One word...lazy!  I am EXTREMELY disappointed because they did decent work in the past for me. Move on to someone that appreciates you as a customer. I really cannot get over how little they cared about anything.

Update: Morgan Roofing and Windows in Lansdale came out. They are AWESOME.  They will do everything Alderfer told me to do myself. 

Sorry, I hate leaving these reviews but Alderfer deserves it.

Alderfer glass was recommended by my plumber who was doing my bathroom renovation. I emailed LOTS of questions and received incredibly prompt and helpful answers. When I was ready to proceed with the job, they gave me a timely appointment and showed up exactly when they said they would. The hardware for the door I wanted was backordered and they gave me an expected date it would be available. it was available on schedule and they came out quickly and did the installation. The shower doors are beautiful  - better than what I imagined and expert installation. Worth every penny. Would use them again without hesitation.

The installers arrived on time and did an excellent job installing my new shower door.  We were referred to Alderfer Glass Co by my sister who used them for her home and two of her sons' homes.  Her recommendation was Spot On!  So glad that I followed her advice.  I will be sure to recommend Alderfer Glass Co to anyone who is looking to install a glass shower door.  Thanks !!!

I have contacted this company for three different  services: One to cut a glass for a table that broke when  we moved from KY to PA. Second ,to replace the windshield for my Nissan; and third to replace a big, big, window glass in my house. They have always been top of the line. They have always done an excellent service. Their work is the best. They are very responsible, punctual and their prices are reasonable.  If you want a job well done please do not hesitate to contact them. They are indeed the best in this area.

Extremely professional, quick to respond and quality workmanship. The day after I called, I had an estimate for a shower enclosure and cracked window. The price was hundreds less than another competitor who took days to come out and then give me my estimate.  The workers arrived on time, were very clean and even gave me a goodie bag for my shower with a squeegee and glass cleaner. They thoroughly explained the warranty and my shower. I will use Alderfer again and highly recommend them.
