Seriously the best pizza in the area. I will drive across town to order this pizza rather than the 15 pizza places that are closer to my house. This place is also great for a large party because you can get a huge pizza at a reasonable price. It's always been fantastic and I've never been disappointed no matter what kind of pizza I've ordered. If you think this review was helpful please let me know and click "helpful"... plus it helps my feelings. Thanks!
Although the food, service, and atmosphere were lacking, I gave two stars because I know times are difficult now. But because my pizza was burned on the bottom and cold to on the top, me requesting over a couple of days to speak with a manager or Aldo personally and never getting contact or customer service, the inability to traverse through the store in my chair, and the so-called supervisor "Natasha's" attitude - I will never go back. Shame also, this family's restaurant has been in Rio Rancho as long as I could remember and I even went to school with the owner. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible!
I was excited to try Aldos because I saw a lot of people online say that it's really good. Since I have yet to find a good buffalo chicken pizza here I decided to give it a try. This thing had pretty much zero cheese on it. It's like I payed $25 for bread soaked in hot sauce. I will not order from there again.
This is the second time I have been to Aldo’s and horrible service both times. Estimated time was 30 minutes and when I arrived I was told it just went in the oven. It took over an hour to get a large cheese pizza. Look at the picture I attached, not very appetizing at all. Tasted as bad as it looked. Restaurant was full of angry customers all with the same problem. I would NOT recommend Aldo’s pizzeria.
Pizza wasn't made good there was a big bubble of where they were missing ingredients. The service was bad. The young girl attending the register was rude with her attidue her name was alexis s. When we went to pick up our pizza she gave us the wrong one. Then we returmed the pizza she just took it and didnt even say tell us if our puzza we ordered was coming out she just walked away. Terrible service in the evenings. This was my second time goin there because the first time i went was during lunch hrs and the pizza was amazing and the service was way better. Alexis s sucks.
Hair in pizza dough, they never have hair nets on. Gross. If there's this much hair in the dough what else isn't sanitary? This isn't a one time incident, we've had hair in previous orders also. Not going back.
Growing up this place use to be my favorite, before it became Aldo’s. Tonight I called to place an order for pick up, the attitude and rush to hang up the phone call from the worker was where it started, we walked in and the workers are sitting at a table on their phones. I ordered a 24 inch pizza half cheese half pepperoni and it was honestly the ugliest pizza I’ve ever picked up.. I don’t recommend this place anymore. The old owner really needs to come back and fix this place up again.
When it’s good it’s the best pizza ever but when it’s bad which is happening more and more it’s hardly edible. I think tonight will be our last time ordering as we actually joked they must be running out of cheese and sauce because there wasn’t any. Literal bare spots across the pizza and at least 2 inches of crust. We basically received bread tonight. It was so bad it’ll just be hitting the trash. Sunday is always a sketchy night to order from them. My husband and I refer to Sunday night workers as the “b” team because it’s a real crapshoot on if the pizza will be good. If you go in and order and sit there while they make it they try harder but good luck if you’re having it delivered to you, that’s nearly a guarantee the pizza will be bad. I think they’re counting on delivery customers not complaining like someone in store would. I’ll miss the times we got amazing pizza, truly the best I’ve ever had but it’s down to about a 50/50 chance as to weather it will be edible and I’m done gambling.
Hardworking staff, they do their best during the rush to get the homemade pizzas out as quickly as possible. There's a flux in staff right now so if you're going on be patient, they'll do their best to get your food out to you as soon as possible. Wait times vary day to day and they get pretty busy. There's usually one good rush after opening and another good rush around 4-6 for dinner. Due to prices fluctuating to keep up with inflation their menus aren't as accurate but they provide a paper menu, and then tax is included on the register. Very chill ma and pa pizza though. Not a little Caesars and not a Domino's this place does make their own pizzas from scratch so it won't take 5 minutes to get a hot n ready, be ready to wait 15 if it's slow to an hour is it's poppin' but your food will be freshly cooked. All in all worth a visit. I recommend the Italian Stallion and the calzones. Vegetarian options: There's a vegetarian pizza it always smells excellent Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair parking spot right at the front door. Unfortunately it's only one but it's right next to a ramp too Dietary restrictions: There is a gluten free dough and vegetarian pizza
Aldos is our favorite. Normally the customer service is decent, but this past Saturday we called in a order for delivery using cash as pur payment. We got a call a hour later saying they had no delivery driver and we could either pick up the pizza and pay there or provide a card and have it delivered by a 3rd party. First of all, we made that order a hour before, it took a hour for them to realize they couldn't deliver it...i ordered delivery I obviously don't want to drive it is Saturday night, and i opted to pay cash when ordering because i dont have a card to use. The guy on the phone was extremely rude when I said I would have to cancel the order, he then said they could deliver it in another hour because they already made the pizza. Sorry we dont want a pizza that has sat over 2 hours. I was very disappointed at the customer service we received from our favorite pizza place. We called Aldos with a special request pizza tonight. We asked for a 24inch pizza, and asked if they could write "Its a girl" in pepperoni. They were happy to do it, they even made the pizza and they weren't happy with how it turned out so they made another pizza for us and it came out AMAZING! The pizza was amazing and so was the customer service!
