Customer service is excellent. The employees seem contented and are very knowledgeable about the products. Also, they actually measure your feet and watch your gait so as to ensure a proper fit. Three weeks ago, I went to Alec's for recommendations on shoes. (I work in a warehouse and walk on concrete for 5 hours at a time.) The salesperson showed me a few options while being respectful of my budget. I chose New Balance cross trainers and I am very pleased. Although I do feel tired after work, I am free of pain. My feet, legs, and back are comfortably fine. I actually recommended the shoes to a few co-workers who are struggling with foot and back pain. Thank you!

Great selection of high quality shoes in a beautiful, huge store. Friendly service. Every kind of shoe, boot, sneaker, slippers you could possibly need for adults and children. Hiking shoes, work shoes, dress shoes and casual shoes. Good prices.

Today was my first trip to Alec’s newer location and my experience was great! Huge selection, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. I’ve never really been to a full service shoe store and Troy was the associate who helped me out. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable and pleasant. He listened to my wants and needs and I left with two new pairs of boots! I’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks again for all of your help Troy!!

Great selection of footwear for men, women, adults, teens, kiddos.... also always a decent amount of clearance always available. They carry many brands and types of footwear from sandals to winter boots. They also carry assorted shoe accessories, socks and even clothes. The staff is always helpful and friendly although at times you will have to claim one before someone else does lol. They also have a shoe club that you can participate in although I don't know if it's through other businesses but my mother is in the shoe club at Alec's through her work. I get most all of my son's and my own footwear here.

Pro: They have many shoes, very smart marketing by keeping a display shoe on the shelf instead of a pair to save space and keeping the the box's of shoes in the back when you ask to try them on in a different size. Con: Picked four or five different boots and they didn't have size 12 in any of them, the nearest size they had in stock was size 10. In the end, I will be back to try again, but would be nice to find something that would actually fit.
