I took my daughter there for a color correction two years ago and we are still trying to fix what Alicia did. First of all Alicia was waiting on three or more customers and my daughter was one of them. I do not think she gave her full attention to any of the customers that night or maybe she just neglected my daughter. I paid right at $400 including the tip, which I would not have given now that I look back. We were there from 2:30 until closing. Around 6 hours. Since than I have put hundreds of more dollars into fixing the mess that was created that night. My daughters hair is finally getting healthy again and we have corrected the color because we have had to cut a lot of it out. Hopefully her hair will be thick and healthy again soon. I will never go back or recommend anyone to visit Alicia's.

I arrived at Alicias at 3:15 for an appointment at 3:30. I had two requests, blonde around my face and to not be brassy, even warned the stylist that my hair pulls gold. Told her what I currently had was too brassy and she understood. Walked out 4 hours later with minimal blonde that is brassy as hell (gold and orange) and still charged full price even though they knew I was not happy. The first time my hair was dried/styled, the stylist knew there was no blonde around my face as requested (again I only had two requests from this visit and one was to have blonde around my face) So she re-foiled the front of my hair. After this process was over and I had spent FOUR HOURS in the salon, she dried/styled again and I was turned around; I just pulled the cape off and walked up front bc it was the most orange and gold in my hair that I've ever seen. Worst $225 I ever spent (my hair is so short it doesn't even reach my collar) and no discounts offered even though they knew my hair was messed up. I talked to my boyfriend after I left, he gave me a $150 gift card to this salon for Christmas. The receptionist told him when he bought the card on 12/24 that to get color, highlights (full), conditioning treatment and cut would be no more than $150. I was also told before we started that I would get a 20% discount for being a new client, however I was not told the discount would only be on one service. After becoming a single mom in 2012, this is only the 2nd time I have had my hair colored in a salon (I asked for a gift card to get my hair done for Christmas). My boyfriend picked this salon bc of its reputation and wanted to give me a gift I would love. I got color, partial highlights, a haircut (so minimal you can't tell it was cut; my hair is already short so it only needed the ends nipped due to just being colored) and conditioning treatment. $225 after the "new client discount". The stylist knew my hair was not what I asked for and only offered to put me back in the chair for the 3rd time to "tone it" even after I repeatedly told her I had already been in the salon for FOUR HOURS and my hair wasn't even close to what I asked for. I was a stylist many years ago and know the stylist knew when my hair was rinsed that it was straight brass but did nothing. Still floored that my stylist was the daughter of the owner of this salon thought it was acceptable to charge me $225 for something that did not accommodate my two simple requests. I have always thought highly of this salon and still can not wrap my head around the service I received. Totally disgusted and disappointed and can not believe this is acceptable for a salon like Alicia's. I have posted this review on THEIR fb page and still have not heard from them to try to make this situation right. I have never posted bad reviews before bc I know everyone has off days but the fact it was deemed acceptable to charge me the ridiculous price of $225 blows my mind.
