I found All About the Cake while looking for a cake for my sister's quinceañera. My sister had a specific cake design in mind, and Darlene was very helpful and did her best to provide what my sister was looking for. The day of the party was great, and the cake looked awesome. Until this day we continue to receive compliments about how beautiful and delicious the cake was. I am now in the process of helping my brother and his fiance plan their wedding and when we talk about getting a cake the first place I think of is All About The Cake.

All About the Cake creates the most amazing, fabulous, artistic cakes I have ever seen, comparable to anything you see on the food network.  I have had the pleasure to see a number of her creations from Birthday purse or pineapple cakes to tool chest graduation cakes to multi tiered Wedding cakes. Darlene is a joy to work with and never ceases to amaze me. It is a shame to cut into these wonderful confections and yet when you do you will be glad you did because the cake and fillings are SO DELICIOUS. enjoy!

I got married October 2010, and we absolutely LOVED the cake!  We chose All About the Cake because we wanted a different kind of wedding cake (we wanted it to look like a mountain because my husband and I are avid backpackers).  Also, Darlene's cakes taste AMAZING!  She did not disappoint on the wedding day!  Our cake was a HIT!  Everyone loved how unique it looked (it was quite a showpiece) and when my husband and I went to cut it, we both thought it tasted SOOOO good!  One of our regrets is that we did not take cake with us on the honeymoon.  I highly recommend Darlene and All About the Cake!  She is wonderful to work with and her creations are beautiful and tasty!  If you are looking for a cake that looks and tastes great, All About the Cake will not disappoint!  We plan to have Darlene make us a mini cake to celebrate our first anniversary!  Thanks Darlene!!!!!

We got married in October, 2010 and were so thrilled with our cake!! To be honest, we were most looking forward to this purchase (because their cakes are the best tasting in town), but just 2 weeks before the wedding my husband lost his job. We had to completely change our order from a tiered cake to a sheetcake. Darlene and her husband were so gracious and made the adjustments easily without complaint. I just couldn't have been happier with how everything tasted, and they even provided us a smaller cake so that we would have something to cut....a mini-version of what we originally ordered! They were just amazing!! If you want the best in town, this is definately the way to go!

My experience with Darlene Clagg was very disappointing. Her web site and what she says she can do are less than truthful. Make sure you get a ledgeable copy of your contract written clearly, no scribbled notes you can’t read, and later be told that was what you said. Make sure the cake is decorated as you requested. She is not a baker and her cakes taste like packaged cake mixes that she attempts to flavor. She switched flavors on our cake, then dropped a layer and replaced it with a bland white cake and didn’t even tell us. She was paid the full amount for her services 30 days before the event. I should have held back at least 15% until the cake was seen and tasted. In hindsight I should have had her decorate Styrofoam forms and bought a Costco cake, it would have tasted better and cost a lot less.
