From beginning to end the crew from all my sons moving were professional! They got me moved in under 2 hours and everything was placed where I wanted it! I would hire these guys again if I am ever moving! Thank you all my sons

I've moved about a dozen times and ever experienced anything this bad.  The driver told the company he started an hour later and ended an hour early and told me in less words I need to tip him to make up the extra hours that I waz charged for anyway...  I tried to let the company know and never got a call back...

Home damaged,items missing,The insurance makes it hard to file a claim.

After making promises about their quality and commitment, they did not show up for my move. After repeatedly changing the time of my move, moving it out later and later, and no service at either the local level or their national level, the movers never showed up!

If you don't care about your things, time or your money give All My Sons a call! The worst moving experience I have ever had: unprofessional, inconsistent, ill-prepared and severely lacking in customer service.  I am not sure what happened to the business as I was referred to  All My Sons from a prior customer/friend who used them in April 2015. Needless to say my friend is filled with embarrassment and regret that she recommended All My Sons.

Showed up for my planned move without shrink wrap, wardrobes or moving blankets.  Was given lame excuses that "wasn't their usual truck" even though I was assured all of these standard moving supplies would be available to me.  My leather ottoman never made it the whole 1/4 mile drive - my loss: $69.95. 

Reserved a time? Don't count on it. Had reserved 8-9:30am window and when I called at 9am to check on ETA was told they were waiting on the 3rd guy. On and on this BS went on and on with no fewer than FIVE PHONE CALLS I had to make and spoke with supposed "owners" of the company until my early AM move turned into them arriving at 5pm!!! What a great time to be in traffic in Chicago, 5pm. By afternoon when NO ONE let me know ETA (despite them stating they have GPS units on their trucks) the owner I spoke with knocked off $20 per hour of my rate.  That seems like a given.  Early in afternoon on one of the many phone calls (I was still being flexible and understanding at this point) I let them know I had tickets for 8pm show at Ravinia. Well you can guess how that went?

Nothing like moving into a new home at 9pm at night. I had to pay my prior landlord for an extra day and also had to take an extra day off of work since I was planning on having the bulk of my day available to unpack a few things.  My loss: $113.38 + $144.99 (subtotal so far $328).

But wait, there's more! I moved from a 2 bedroom townhouse to a 3 bedroom home. I explained it was short local move and needed wardrobes (requested at least 3-4) which for anyone has moved knows it makes for a simple move to simply put hanging clothes into hanging wardrobe, toss some shoes in the bottom and your closet is done. Noooo they had none so in the midst of them moving my stuff I had to take time to pack up three closets full of clothes using whatever supplies I had on hand. Good thing a professional moving company didn't show up with wardrobes!!!

Then there's lack of shrink wrap, again another standard item pro movers have and I specifically explained I had several small bookshelves that would want to have wrapped for short move. NOPE no shrink wrap, was told "oh, this isn't my usual truck" or some other BS. OK, I ended up using up any saran wrap I had on hand to have this done. I had just regular saran wrap so this took up a significantly longer amount of time for one mover to do than if they had the moving type as they had promised. My subtotal now: $335 

Gets better, I carefully wrapped up some of the smaller bookshelves making a point to explain to the lead mover to "please carry this upright, it's an inexpensive shelf from Target so the back is just cardboard". He understood. About 5 minutes later different mover comes to say, "oh, those bookshelves broke".  Keep in mind, other mover did not say something like, "this broke and please let me help you pack it in another box". Now I've gone from packing closets to repacking 5-6 boxes of books, unplanned.  

While I was early on given $20 off the hourly rate after this whole experience it simply was not enough. At 9pm at night I was speaking with owner "Kevin" who agreed to reimburse me for the Ravinia tickets which was least they could do. Instead of being an understanding owner and providing good customer service my ask of discounting my rate more given all that went on was met with "I can't do that I already gave you a discount off the rate".  Never even a "sorry".  In my opinion as a business owner it is important to recognize when you really, really fail to deliver what was promised. This was such a case. Horrible business, avoid at all costs!
